The Tono-Pen XL tonometer is an easy to use, portable, hand held instrument which provides fast and accurate IOP readings with the accuracy comparable to the Goldmann Tonometer. The device utilizes micro strain gauge technology and a 1.5mm transducer tip. The Tono-Pen gently contacts the cornea, and displays the average of four independent readings, along with a statistical coefficient. Battery power operates the pen for approximately 1200 eyes while sanitized Ocu-FilmŪ tip covers are used to minimized the risk of cross contamination. |
